Day Of Days

Day Of Days Ellen Tykeson September 30th, 2008 Reads: "Day of Days A description of the sculpture offered by the artist. The sculpture, DAY OF DAYS, is a tribute to every woman's life. This riders bond with her animals depends on trust and understanding rather than control. The horse is a metaphor for the speed of our days and the parrot for the rhythms of teaching and learning. In the beehive, there is industry and community, while the apple's history is for knowledge and the gift of choice. The Scarlet Letter Nathaniel Hawthorne Published in 1850 I. THE PRISON-DOOR A throng of bearded men, in sad-coloured garments and grey steeple-crowned hats, intermixed with women, some wearing hoods, and others bareheaded, was assembled in front of a wooden edifice, the door of which was heavily timbered with oak, and studded with iron spikes. The most frequently used words in Chapter 1 of The Circular Staircase  are not words I expected. House, Liddy, Halsey
